Thawnest exists for a tender moment — your brain is stuck and you reached for help. We treat what you tell us with the same care we'd want for ourselves.

What we collect

  • Account basics: your email, display name, and the timestamp you signed up.
  • Rescue history: what kind of freeze, urgency, and the outcome you marked. The task description and the AI's response are stored only so you can see them again.
  • Drafts: messages you write and choose to lock for later. End-to-end stored against your account.
  • Anonymous product analytics: structured event names like freeze_started with metadata like type and urgency. No task text. No draft bodies. No rescue content.

What we don't collect

  • No advertising networks. No third-party ad cookies. Ever.
  • No third-party analytics on your personal content (your drafts, tasks, or rescue text never leaves our database).
  • No location tracking, no contact list access, no device fingerprinting.
  • No selling, renting, or sharing your data with brokers.

How long we keep it

Account data: as long as your account exists. Rescue and draft history: as long as your account exists, unless you delete individual entries. Anonymous analytics events: 12 months, then aggregated and anonymized.

How to delete it

Open Settings and tap "Delete account." Your data is removed within 30 days. If you'd rather export first, email us at hi@thawnest.com and we'll send a copy within a week.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you're in the EU, UK, California, or any jurisdiction with similar rules, you have the right to: access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, port it elsewhere, and object to processing. To exercise any of these, email hi@thawnest.com — we respond within 14 days.

We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under CCPA.

Where data lives

Our database and infrastructure run on Supabase and Cloudflare. Anonymous analytics events go to PostHog (US region). AI rescue generation runs through Google's Gemini API; we send the minimum context needed and don't permit training on your inputs.
